Top 5 protection out to 2020 is both ridiculous and unnecessary. I have a feeling every time he pushed for higher protection Philly countered with more years and then the clock ran out. They may have had some exploratory talks prior to the draft, but this all went down pretty fast in real time while the Pelicans were on the clock. Philly had the leverage because they were unloading the better asset IMO. They could get a decent deal for Holiday any time after the draft, we'd have trouble getting as much value for our picks after the draft. I seriously doubt Philly would have agreed to anything they thought would make it more likely to be a 2015 pick than a 2014 pick.

that's what I'm thinking...we will have to go about 5-20 or worse to even have a realistic shot.
...currently on a 5 game losing streak and looking terrible. If AD misses significant time, it could happen.
We just have so many bad players on our team right now. MIL, PHI, and the Lakers are the only teams whose talent sucks more, imo.

Jazz and cavs will plqy tomorrow, so one of them will win. Kings and lakers will also play, so one of them will win. We have a hard schedule to finish the year. I think a top 4 finish is possible. Can you guys imqgine adding one of those rookie Cs or SFs?

I was surprised to see Sacramento still with so few wins, I thought I had heard they've been playing better since the Rudy Gay trade. But I guess they still are the Kings. Demarcus Cousins just got suspended and fined for punching Patrick Beverly and going after a ref. He's out of control in the video clip with multiple coaches having to hold him back.
