whoa..what?

You know how to read and you also know that he's been compared to those 3 players since his rookie year. I don't understand what confused you.

being a 2 who can score on his own is all i needed to know. the hornets are still trying to plug that (massive) gap on the roster

Kind of irrelevant with Monty not playing him. Maybe if Thornton had more years on his deal it could have worked out but Monty's still learning and leaning on guys he knows (Green/Jack) because of it.

"OMG his ceiling is Ben Gordon!" May I remind you that Willie has averaged 17 since he's become the starter, and that Belli has looked much more comfortable off the bench?

What is our record over that span against weak competition? Just saying.

It's looking more and more like Chris Paul may be the a-hole, no?

Sure. It was a dumb trade b/c Thornton was the Hornet's best scorer (which, I'm told, is the object of the game.) Paul is an absolutely brilliant pure point guard. He's not a "scorer" per se ... he could be, probably. West is the team's only true scorer, now that Thornton was dumped. The rest of the guys are nice players, fit well into certain roles, love to have 'em, but, we need a scorer. And we traded our best, for more depth at the forward position, when our depth at guard sucks. Bellinelli has not lived up to billings.

Landry isn't just depth, he's a post scorer. He did get 17 points on 10 shots last night.

what exactly were you expecting from him? The only thing you should have expected was 39% 3 point shooting which he has delivered. His adequate defense has been an added bonus. Belinelli may not be what we need starting at SG, but he's given us far more than was expected of him.

Can't score from the bench.

is this a joke. "His adequate defense" is terrible. You must not watch the games. Just one example of his stupidity: Bellinelli has repeatedly fouled opposing players from behind on a break away lay up, giving a chance for a 3 point play.

He sucks
