My fear with Simmons is that I think he's someone who's going to want to be in a big market. Then we're just on round 3 of star needing to be traded.

Yah they make that point. Wed be doing the same thing in 3-4 years.
Bill thinks we should just move to Seattle and (accurately) rips on us for having the worst fans in the NBA.
Compares us to the Marlins

Klutch wouldn't allow that

Why not?
Only way I could see Klutch not allowing this would be if they managed Simmons as well. That Philly team would be great with Ad, Butler, and Embiid

They do

Won’t happen. Simmons is also garbage.

The irony of AD potentially ending up on the 76ers after years of fans knighting for the “Dell Method” over “The Process” would be too great.

It’s not a great fan base but any time it does get some momentum going in bringing in the casual fans to buy in they stumble and it’s back to square one.

I don’t blame the fan base, and frick Bill Simmons for good measure. The pretentious frick has no grasp of this franchise except to suck AD’s metaphorical cock from his platform to hopefully help drive the larger media narrative to get him to Boston. Been shitting on New Orleans since AD started coming into his own.
New Orleans is not a highly populace area, but if you give us a good product we will show up.
The playoff crowd for the Portland series was rivaling a Saints playoff game. I know, I was there, it was sheer madness and the atmosphere was incredible.
The problem is the ownership doesn’t ever hold up it’s end. We have these Cinderella seasons only to drop the ball immediatey the next year. It happened with CP3, it’s happened twice now with AD. Team shows some promise, fans start buying in, showing up to games, team shits the bed in spectacular fashion and spends the next several seasons getting back to square one. And the diehards like myself get worn out of decades of incompetence and poor management and the same cycles over and over.

As a very casual regular season NBA fan, the Pels are a tough follow.
While I was typing this, someone else on their roster just got injured.
That and your roster isn't that bad, yet somehow you manage to consistently blow games to inferior teams.
Not gonna spend my free time on a team that clearly doesn't give a shite.

The Pels gave the city a team 1 win away from a 3 seed in the West last season, and in return we gave them back below average attendance.

Because the team is shite this year lol
