For being a “players coach” Willie sure knows how to alienate guys. First Hawk, then JV and now BI. Willie just sucks in general. You have these conversations with your players before it happens. I’ve got a feeling Willie doesn’t like conflict (calling refs out) so I just avoids the tough conversations and his players are blindsided by his decisions.

Hot take: Trey Murphy will be better than Klay Thompson ever was. Let’s get this team an elite big, move TM3 into the starting lineup and run this bitch back with Zion at the helm

Im not a Willie fan. But this one is a stretch. I love Hawk but hes a rookie and his defense wasn’t great. JV is better than Nance but hes been pretty bad. Players walk past him for buckets and he was missing point blank shots. BI did nothing on defense and he was taking horrendous shots and was missing them. Willie roled with Zion and maybe should have put BI back in after Zion injury but I can get why he didn’t.

It all changed because the assumption was we had a good locker room guy. He crossed the line last night and that changed everything.

Now he’s a guy that isn’t listening to coaches, skill set isn’t a good fit, and he’s throwing tantrums? No, your highest paid player and leader can’t do that for any reason, especially a veteran.

The sad part is BI’s skill set should fit with a superstar. He can do everything on offense decently well, and he has enough size and length to guard all over the court. But he thinks he’s better than he is and thinks he’s too good to adapt his game to help the team.

Looking back when LeBron pushed him out of LA, I think LeBron saw back then what we’re all figuring out now. Talented player, but not as good as he thinks he is, not easy to coach and you have to beg him to play defense. I think LeBron realized that BI wasn’t worth waiting to develop because at best he’s good not great.

murph is better with Zion but you still need to replace BI's offensive creation. can't just have only Zion and CJ.

I think you're on to something here. No matter what. This team needs a change at the top.

Its where you need some sort of a point guard or creator which hopefully a BI trade gets you back.

Don't what do you call the entire team standing up and cheering on the dudes playing while you sit and sulk?

and he should have been pissed.
Only if he thinks he's above the team and should get to play no matter what, whether it's earned or not, which goes back to the attitude part.

It's been clear since I started calling for it a year ago. It did not just last night become the right play. It's been that way for quite a while.

Zero interest in piling on Brandon, but he was sulking on the bench, no question. Brandon is a good player. He's not a good fit next to Z for the simple reason that, in the modern NBA, you can't have the two stars of your team, who get the most money and take the most shots, be non-three point shooters and average defenders. You just can't. So, one of them has to go.

Zion, if healthy, clearly has a higher ceiling than Brandon and we can already see how the roster can work around Zion. Z has the potential to be a Giannis-level player. He can possibly be a number one on a contender. Can't see that for one-time all-star, non-three-point-shooting Ingram.

You’re missing the point. I’m not criticizing his decisions (at least not last night). I’m criticizing how the way he handles decisions. Seems like he’s a very non confrontational guy which means he avoids conflict and his players are blindsided by his decisions.

Leaving CJ and BI on the bench and riding the Nance, Zion, Trey, Jose and Herb lineup was absolutely the correct decision.

The team as it is now (this season) is better with BI. We would have been top 6 or better if he didn't get injured, but he gets injured for long periods almost every season. At this point, we can't keep betting on our 2 best players being injury-prone to finally be healthy. It's as simple as that. One of them has to go.

I believe that with a better coach, BI, Zion, CJ, and the rest could fit together much better. However, at this point, the injuries are undeniable. We can't just keep running it back even if we wanted to.

Trey has a long way to go to become the defender Klay was in his prime.

BI is about to go off Fri night
Then will put up numbers against OKC and Griffin will give him a fat contract. And he still won't fit with Z and we will regret it.
We will get fed that, we are trending up. Willie is getting better and better. Z and BI will lead us to the promise land.

That's the life of a pels fan.

BI is gonna be pissed off tomorrow. 60% confident. He’s a competitor.

If Willie did us a favor, it was purely unintentional, I'm sure!

Hopefully this doesn’t mean he’ll share the ball less and just jack up a bunch of middies. If the ball sticks with him- we’re losing tomorrow.

Been through 3 coaches... the likely of getting that guy that can gel them together is slim to none

Bingo, and there’s only one person to blame for that

Ingram, he is the only guy that is unwilling to adapt his game. Zion adapted slowly and tried to fit in alongside BI earlier in the season before Willie finally figured out Point Zion is the formula to success.

CJ changed his entire shot profile to fit alongside Zion and BI and has played off ball alot more than he’s used to.

BI is the only one that will not do what is needed, and when he loses playing time and doesn’t get the ball in his hands he pouts like a little bitch.
