So how's he going to get minutes after Reke, morrow, gordon, and jrue and between jackson and roberts?

@McNamara247: Austin- "That's just the way coach is. I could have had 80 points and 20 assists and he would have had a page of notes with all my mistakes"

That's how a coach should be, especially against the subpar talent of the summer league

Jackson and roberts might not even make the team now

He's probably the 2nd guard off the bench. If he continues to show improvement he'll earn somewhere between 12-20 mpg. I would only expect Morrow to average about 12 tops. Jackson probably won't find the court unless someone goes down with an injury. Until then, I expect him to be playing in the D-League.

As for the interview I couldn't help but squeal with a little bit of excitement. He's going to be a lot better this year, no doubt.

If jrue and gordon play 35 mpg at the guard spots and tyreke only plays 15 mpg at a guard spot, which is unlikely, there is only 11 mpg left at the 1 and 2. morrow gets 6 and rivers gets a big 5 mpg at the most.

If Rivers actually develops/pans out they'll eventually trade Gordon to improve the 3 or 5. Team will be a work in progress the next couple of seasons.

I expect the Pelicans to turn it around in the next 2-3 years with the way this FO has been operating and that was with literally 100% writing off Rivers.

If you throw in an improved Rivers, however, shite could get reeeeeeally interesting !
