you sir are the KING of making personal attacks at anyone who's post you don't agree with. anything posted by that guy Broosevelt or whatever the hell his screename is you immediately go to personal attacks. same thing with myself and others. if you don't like a thread about the pathetic fan support, or calling out Eric Gordon, etc. then you jump straight to personal attacks and accuse the poster of being a "troll".

that guy isn't real!!!

You can't attack his person!!!

As for calling out Eric Gordon, I've done this myself, so that's just completely fabricated. And you can't produce such a thread. you can produce me saying you have no idea about attendance, or messing with Beli or HB, or getting into it some posters that I don't call a troll.

Feel free to exaggerate and make things up. I'll stick with facts.

not true. you're just focusing on the negative.
there are three things that I have been negative about this season and that is -

1. Eric Gordon's attitude
2. Monty's poor decision making in crunch time
3. The usual pathetic fan support

most legit sports teams with the best fan bases would be bitching about the exact same thing. it doesn't make you a bad fan if you criticize what deserves to be criticized. It also doesn't make you a better fan to just turn the other cheek as if you shouldn't dare criticize.

keep saying that. its that type of mentality that shows how new most people around here are to the NBA. even the riches of the rich owners are only going to put up with losing money every year for so long.

I agree with 2 of 3 but fan support can be put on back of hornets and hornets only.

The one year they played ball fan support was fine..and even carries iver till next year..which fell apart and included worse playoff loss in nba history.

We have 1 playoff victory ever.

This years team was most unlikable group on court together since they have arrived.

They have never been consistent unless it was consistently bad. I don't get mad when people don't drive from br to nola all the time for games. In fact that makes me the moron

case and point. thank you Mr. High & Almighty!

when you say something true then we can talk as well. I get it though. your idea of "true" is your opinion and what you say (such as you have called out Gordon, or you have or haven't done this or that), yet when I say mine it is all false!

partially true, but the only time the Hornets had good fan support was during the final 15-20 games of the 2008 season and then the very next season after that in 08-09. people tend to forget the Hornets were still a playoff team in 2010-11 and had a top 5 (arguably top 3 player in the NBA) in Chris Paul on the team and still barely cracked the 14,700ish attendance benchmark with about 15,000 per game.

so its not as if "winning" is the only thing that will draw and keep a crowd here. the biggest issue is the market to be honest. New Orleans and the Gulf South in general is not a good basketball market.

Bad Team=Pathetic Fan Support
Monty is Monty but again bad team
EG i'll give you but at least he's played well lately.

It doesn't make you a bad fan to critque but when that's all you do practically it doesn't put you in a great light

I've critiqued monty/eg whatever as well but i don't dwell on it.

I've followed the NBA for a while FWIW and only teams with shite managment at the top don't do well(see kings, raps,Clips for a while). We have a solid foundation and it'll get better as the team does.

It started off slow that year but it sef picked up towards end of year. And that's because of bad year before. When perennial loser you have to prove to people its worth their time.
Most of what people knew about that team was Paul whininf to get out

true in most cases, but in New Orleans case its not. we had a 46 win playoff team with Chris Paul in 2010-11 and only averaged 14,700 fans per game just barely above the former minimum attendance benchmark number.

Look at the attendance trend in that season. They were bad prior, so attendance started bad. Then, it went up as they started winning. Next season, you know, when the effect of those wins would really be felt, 98% sellout on the season.

Next?
