since its out there now that he wants to go to new york, and theres no way new york is getting him without another team involved. lets see your best trade ideas. also if yall have any other realistic destinations. (clippers, lakers, maybe magic.) throw them out there. clippers is best place for us to score big imo. im playing in the draft machine right now.

Happy now?

They better not trade him to NY. Make his arse eat a loss to play with his bff. frick you, Chris Paul. I hope you fail for the rest of your career.

Unless the hornets can get a single exciting superstar that we can build a team around and that will put butts in the seats there's no point in coming up with "a-little-above-average" player trade scenarios imo..

What if the front office did a radical future planning approach?

We are gonna lose him anyway. Might as well get some draft picks. Future Draft Picks by Team

Knicks:
2013 1st
2017 1st
2019 1st
2021 1st or a player to fill a need

Not sure if there is a limit on trading future picks, but let them mortgage their future to win now. We'll have some down years, but combine lottery picks with a ton of first round guys we could be unstoppable by the end of the decade.

Indiana. We give up CP3, Willie Green, and one of our PFs for Danny Granger, Collison, Hibbert, and D.Jones. We get a shitload of young talent while giving CP the bird by sending him to a fricking corn field in the middle of nowhere.
