Healthy Zion/CJ/Ingram playing in April
Didn't get a top 4 seed, but several other years we would be top 4 with this record.
Overall has this season had some really bad warts? Sure. But we've had unexpected developments in our favor too: Dyson, Herb shooting 3s, Zion looking the best he's ever looked for us (seriously, best shape he's ever been in for us).
Just great season by the Pels, but it isn't finished. Something tells me these guys are just getting started too. Future is bright sons.

I'm sure this is me being naive, but I'm not even scared of Denver with the way the team is playing. Last night the Pels had the best pair of shooters on the court. That's saying something against Golden State.

I thought about that, and if the Pels want to win the Western Conference (which I think is doable), they have to play Denver at some point. Might as well get them out of the way early. I welcome them if that's who we play in the 1st round.

High Altitude games have not been kind to the Pelicans. We're 0-4 in Utah and Denver this season. That gives me enough motivation to want to avoid playing 4 games up there.

Winning a playoff series is the real benchmark for me this year. And need Zion to come ready to play at the start of season. His need for load management, especially early on, is why we are the 6th seed and not the 4th seed.
That said, I agree the 10,000 foot view of this season is a big success. 50 wins has only happened one other time before for us and a big accomplishment.
