That we couldn’t build a winner around those guys.

Certainly didn’t help. They were pretty hot when he went down

Think about it. Cousins resigns max deal, rondo prob doesn’t leave. Team gels. Playoffs again. Davis stays. Future bright.

The future will never be bright for this franchise. Sell the team. SuperSonics are way cooler than Pelicans anyway.

The JV team looks like it's closer to being a contender than the starters -Jrue.

This is a solid tank. Games are competitive but we still lose.

1 injury shouldnt derail a franchise and have its best player force himself out.

Pelicans have no one to blame but themselves. They could be winning and Davis would be happy and ready to sign his max deal if they had just fired Demps and Gentry and brought in a competent GM and a coach who actually gives a shite about playing defense. This team as constructed has no excuse not to be a winner. AD, Jrue, Randle, Mirotic. Okafor, Payton, etc..... The talent is here we just need a real coach. AD wants to get as far away from those two jokes as possible and who can blame him?

John Calipari wanted the coach and GM position and 10 mil a year to start.
The benefit wouid be he couid certainly draw in some of his former players. He’s a players coach and he’d sell New Orleans basketball like no othrrr. Hell, he had Memphis ready to leave the state of Tennessee. A lot of money but it would have been fun to watch. People point to the Nets. He did make the playoffs one year. His star player was Sam Cassel. ??

They never should have fired Monty Williams.

how crazy is it that if Boogie makes that free throw, we're contending for a championship right now...

With Cousins recovery progressing far better than expected, it does beg the question as to whether it was the right move to play hardball with Cousins.

It's looking like he is on pace to get a contract larger than what he probably would of settled for with us and if by chance we had to go above his projected market rate, if the extra cost was keeping AD for another 3-4 years and changing the perception of our franchise, we may have made a critical error.
