6/10 rotation guys being liabilities = tough season

Not going to win a ton of games with 6/10 of your rotation being below average. JJ, Lonzo, Melli, Hayes, Bledsoe, and sometimes Hart have not played well this year. I realize that it’s still early but we just don’t have the shooting or depth to compete with this roster. Luckily 4 of those guys are expirings.

After watching tonight, I’m convinced JJ would be KILLING it on that Jazz team. They get so many open shots.

Offensive sets are just awful. You're basically giving BI the ball on the perimeter or Zion on the high post and let them force shots.

And you have no shooters around them to space the floor. Lonzo shoots enough bricks to rebuild the entire French Quarter and Bledsoe and Adams are defenders and not shooters. Hart is not really a consistent 3 pt shooter, JJ is off this year, NAW has a decent 3 pt shot but not really a shooter, Melli is terrible. We need a shooter in the starting lineup to space the floor for BI and Zion as well as one or two off the bench (preferably a big that can actually shoot).

Team is playing too slow. Not Gentry breakneck but more pace is needed and the personnel fits that style more. Need to get easier buckets there bc halfcourt is ugly.

Exactly this. I'm not sure I've seen BI take a shot this season that wasn't isolation. I'm sure he has some assisted 3s but I honestly can't remember many.
