The real headline should be:
"Students on target forget to tell rapper he can't cuss"
Told he couldn't use curse words
(I guess no one explained to him or his management prior to signing a contract)
So he bailed out on his set and was booed off stage.

I missed it, only because I didn't think Yelawolf would go on before Grace Potter. That's silly enough right there.
What's even worse (and already discussed) is that they booked Yela in the first place. A rapper who raps about meth, weed, alcohol, and everything in between, was invited to a "clean" concert. LSU's fault.
Besides, did anyone else get that silly arse email about this show? "Come and enjoy an alcohol, drug free environment!"
Are we in 3rd grade? Was this sponsored by DARE?

Why is it a censored event? These are college kids we are talking about, if they don want "no-no" words they won't go...what prude is going to even like yelawolf if he doesn't like cuss words?

I agree with all of this stuff that you said. What's funny though is they signed Anti-Obama Lupe Fiasco and let him go his whole set. Wouldn't be shocked if he went on a political tirade while on stage also.

I remember when I was in school at Bama and Ying Yang Twins performed at our homecoming bash thing. They were censored as all. So fricking lame.
