It's possible but I just don't see why he wouldn't finish out the 30 years and call it if that were the case.

It's all very strange because the money the band is making on these anniversary shows is pretty big.

This band is slipping away from me

Man I thought Todd sounded way better even though they weren't in their groove with him. The crashing cymbals and banging doesn't make up for what Todd knows. At this point it's better than nothing but they are light years from anything 01 and before sounding. I'm chalking it up relishing in the fact that they're still playing.

I'm not saying Todd wasn't good, or that I prefer Duane (I would rather have Todd), but that 2nd set last night was powerful. I think the boys got their point across, and they are still fired up about playing music and will continue to do so at a high level.

I wasn't listening. I'm fed up with Jimmy to start. He bores me to death. And now I'm a little fed up with the handling of Todd. For frick's sake, they are a rock band. Dude should be able to get fricked up and the fans should know what's happening.

I need to go see a good show to change my tune but I agree the remaining guys are working hard to keep it going.

My buddy who has inside knowledge also reported to me that Todd has been a total derelict up till the past year or so. The band gave him time off to get straight. He returns on a zero tolerance policy, goes to Mexico, is seen with a drink in his hand at airport. Someone reports it to Brown Cat. Other rumors are that he was partying with that nose candy or whatever in Mexico too. so when Schools says it was his choice, he made the choice to chase demons rather than continue on with the band. That's tough. He was a founding member and knew Houser long before the others, IIRC.

I know some people in the know. Basically he had trouble with pain pills and other health issues. Had gotten clean from the opiates but kept drinking and they were sick of enabling him.
