Kurt Cobain with Nirvana

or

Brad Nowell with Sublime

I would have to say Brad, he went before he was supposed to and who knows where sublimes legacy would be today.

ETA: Can be anyone, these are my first two options.

Kurt's new legacy would tarnish his old. He chose to die; good for him.

I don't care for Brad's music anyway so his existence, or lack of, is largely irrelevant to me.

Bring back Otis, Jimi, Jerry, Buddy, and others first.

I was hoping Michael Jackson's death was a hoax so he could pop out if his casket at the funeral as a zombie and do the thriller dance.

I don't care about either. If I had a choice it would be Ian Curtis.

The only artist I really wonder about what they would be sounding like if they were alive today is Jimi. He was getting into some different shite before he died. That South Saturn Delta shite. Jerry wasn't really evolving a whole lot by the time he bought it.

Brad. Shitty live performer due to his intoxication, but incredible studio creativity. There are a lot of haters of Sublime that really don't understand the fusion of sound they created that still influences many genres.

If we're resurrecting people, I'll pick Mozart. Might as well go all out.
