It's got some kinks still but overall I really like it. The suggested playlist feature is amazing and beats1 radio is really cool as well (St. Vincent's show is awesome.) I didn't think anything would pull me away from Spotify but for me Apple Music is just better.

What's better about it? I was wondering if I should make the switch too but I couldn't find anything to make me want to switch. Especially not to go through the hassle of switching over all of my playlists, etc. I doubt I'd use the beats1 radio much, anything else?

I didn't think I'd use beats1 either but trust me it's legit.

The curated playlists are really cool as well. Based on your tastes it'll suggest stuff like "Intro to (artist" or "(artist) deep cuts". Also solid mix playlists like "Alternative hits of 2013" or "Inspired by (artist)"

Is it still run through iTunes on desktop? If so, that's a dealkiller

I have used it a few times and I really hate it. Difficult to navigate, not intuitive or user friendly. They fricked up by updating the music app on the iPhone as well. It sucks. Spotify is a much better product overall IMO.

I'm all in. I have really enjoyed it. I have music on pretty much all the time at home, so the playlists have been cool.

It the three month trial still going on? I might try it when it comes to Android or if I switch to an iPhone.

I have similar feelings, but "hate" is a strong word. I think it's a good product but it is no better than spotify was when spotify originally launched. Apple Music is incredibly clunky, hard to navigate, has a decent delay between when I press play and when the music starts, is incredibly buggy (big surprise there ), and just isn't intuitive. It's also ugly. The only advantage of Apple Music is that it has some music that Spotify doesn't, but not enough to make me jump ship. I am still on my trial and I won't be switching.

I knew I was in for a shitshow when I logged into it for the first time and I am clicking bouncing bubbles with genres of music on them to help customize my listening experience. So stupid.

So stupid. The interface is clunky as hell. As stated previously, it is unintuitive. Simple things done in Spotify seem to be an enormous task in AM. Maybe cut the bloat, and it will be usable.

EDIT: exactly everything that SUB said.

I don't know why I keep looking at alternatives for Spotify. It's like looking for alternatives for Google Maps, there isn't much room for improvement.
