Which L.A. Sunset Strip bands of these was the best and why?

Read OP and this band was the first to pop in my mind.

Motley's first two albums are hard to top.
Ratt's early stuff was great as well

Far as not as popular good stuff? Babylon AD, Wicked Jester, Love/Hate, and I am sure a bunch I can't think of off the top of my head.

Worst? Anything that came out after 88. Danger Danger comes to mind with awesome lyrical hits such as Naughty Naughty and Bang Bang... jeez they sucked. Also, Extreme, Trixter and a bunch of shite bands like that.

Also, as much as I love early WASP their later albums were their best Crimson Idol is one of the best albums ever made IMO.

The worse was at the tail end of the Hair Metal scene was when MTV tried to make Nelson a Hair Metal Band. I think this is when MTV killed the goose that laid the golden egg on the Hair Metal Scene.
As bas as Trixter and Firehouse was I could barely tolerate them but in no way or form could I accept or listen to the Nelson twins.

The idea is simple. I list a bunch of mainstream-obscure bands in hopes that people will respond with intelligence. What do I get? "Motely Crue, man. They were there, maaaaaan." Well, no shite.

As I said before all the bands you posted but 2 are NOT obscure and were mainstream in the genre they performed in. How hard is that to comprehend? So with that being said, why are you the only arse in this thread that has a problem with people mentioning other mainstream bands.
