If you would like for the board to review an album that you have in mind, please post a link to that album for listening (youtube, download, soundcloud, etc.)

One album will be chosen for the entire week; that is the only album to be reviewed. Reviews are to be submitted by whosoever desires and are encouraged. Feel free to chime in.

If you don't have an album in mind, feel free to throw your weight behind an album mentioned by another poster.

Here are some albums previously recommended: The MB Album Listening Project

Week 1
Oct 27 - Nov 2
Album: Way Out Weather by Steve Gunn

Week 2
Nov ? - Nov ?
Album: TBD

Taking album suggestions now..

The new Steve Gunn album mentioned in that thread came out only 2 weeks ago. That's a good one to start the discussion IMO.

Good nomination.

We'll see if anyone else nominates another album before making it official.

It can be whatever the frick you want. Hell--- you can post a live show. However, it's not in your best interest to post a 3+ hour show if wanting legitimate feedback.

I'm here to admit that I suck and let dan down. I really did listen to the Visage album, and I liked it...So I did get something out of that thread, seeing as I hadn't heard much from them before.

It's cool breh

It wasn't well organized, Velvet took the idea and cleaned it up a little bit. Hopefully this one works out better.

Steve Gunn's Way Out Weather it is.

You can listen here. I'll submit a review later this week after giving it a couple of listens. I encourage you to do the same.

John Frusciante - Shadows Collide With People

It's probably his best work IMO. There are a couple instrumental tracks that I skip, but it doesn't take away from how great this album is.

Youtube Album

There's a long intro to the first song, but think of it like the intro in Shine on You Crazy Diamond. It builds up great.

So far what I've listened to of it, I enjoyed...With no LSU and Saints this weekend, I will be free to type up a solid review
