Here is another one from that era by Paul McCartney's brother's band. Odd song:

Scaffold "Thank You Very Much"

Have not heard that previously. It is rather odd yet quite catchy.

There are some great obscure songs from the 60s. I was in HS from '65-'69 and the music was great. Motown, the British Invasion, The Beach Boys, etc.

I've learned a lot of good music in the old O-T Music threads and on this board. I like it all.

Dandy Lion, when you posted "Jess Roden" I started to listen to his music (which I like) and didn't get that you were giving me a clue.

Very true of the 60s. I was in HS in the early 80s so slightly before my time but the "pop" music from the 60s is unmatched, especially the British stuff.

I have only been around for about a year here on TD and get to drop in occasionally primarily here on the Music Board. There are some knowledgeable people here with solid recommendations often. It's a good outlet into new stuff that I don't get like I used to in college.

I've learned a lot from many here. It's a great way to pass the time.

That's a great version of Shake Dog Shake. Good audio quality as well (at least for youtube ).

it really is. I´ve never seen The Cure live, and I know back in the day, with less production it had to be great (not because they were overproduced, but Robert Smith, albeit not a virtuoso, was very ,very intense, and was pretty demanding of whom he played with, like Bowie).

You're right about Robert Smith's intensity. That is primary draw for me to their work. I have seen them live twice and was blown away by his performances.
