Axis: Bold as Love

It was the first album I really listened to when I started getting into music on my own. I listened to it most days for about a year when I was 13/14. The end of the song Bold as Love slows down then jolts you back up with the drums and then guitar solo just perfectly.

This thread looks like a Rolling Stone GOAT list in the worst way possible.

Astral Weeks was so far ahead of its time. I saw him play the entire album a few years ago at Hollywood bowl in 08. Was incredible.

I have always said Abbey Road and that's not because I am a big Beatles fan and no single song on that album would be in my top 100. For me, that albums demands that you listen to it in its entirely because the songs flow so well together it's almost as if the whole album is one song with many parts.

throughout my life I have had about 10 different fav albums. My bloody valentine - loveless, stone roses - stone roses, robyn hitchcok and the egyptions - forgot album name, spiritualized - ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space, david bowie - ziggy stardust.

But in the last 16 years, I keep on going back to this one. I think its my fav
