What performance do you think of first or your most memorable/favorite when you think of MTV Unplugged

Mine is Pearl Jam 1992

i feel like i really only know the alice in chains one because they had that playing in the audio stores youd go check out like hifibuys.

The Cranberries were awesome on Unplugged. Burnt that vhs tape out watching it.

Pearl Jam for me, too, though I didn’t care for Eddie’s politics.

I hated when he started getting super political on stage. But once it crept into his music i was over it.

Overall its Nirvana, but Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven was great.

Absolutely it was Kiss. That performance was an eye-opener for those who only knew the stage production, the theatrics, the gimmicks, the reputation ... and showed that the band - any four of the six members who peformed - could strip a set to the bare bones and still drive it home superbly. I was so glad they released that set as an album.

i remember seeing Hole unplugged but, that may have been VH1 not MTV. I enjoyed that one.
