86 would have been a great time to see them
I saw them in September of '86 at the same venue. That was actually a better concert, as the sound was way better for whatever reason. OTOH, I liked the '85 set list a little better.

U2 Joshua Tree Tour
1987-11-26: Assembly Center, Lousiana State University - Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA

At 13 years old, this was my first concert and the first band to get me addicted to music. I got to take both my teenage children to the superdome to see the 30-year anniversary of this album. That was such a cool experience.

I know U2 gets a bad rap from some people on this board, but the Joshua Tree will be remembered as one of the best albums of all time many years from now.

L7 this past October 3 in Nashville. What an amazing show it was. I’m in love with Jennifer Finch, who was four feet away from me.

I was at all if those you listed. If I had to narrow it down to 1 it was 7/28/01.

RHCP - Voodoo 2006. Snow, Readymade, and Throw Away your Television live blew my mind.... and then The Meters came out and jammed with them. I was on the barricade in front of John the whole show. Set list was amazing. Apache Rose Peacock. Don't forget Me. They were firing on all cylinders after Stadium Arcadium came out and that show was fantastic.

Tool - Bonnaroo 2007 - Schism live was a life altering experience in that field in Manchester

Probably Ozzy Osbourne July 4th 1989. Vixen and White Lion opened. Right up there with Ozzy would be Mötley Crüe June 28th of 1990. Johnny Crash and Tesla with that one. Both shows at the Cayuga County Speedway in Weedsport, NY. It amazes me that they're both still going. Vince is a shadow of his former self but the latest Ozzy record is as good as anything he's released over the years.

Saw them in 1983 at the Saenger in New Orleans. They had more a country twang then, but still great. Little known band named 10,000 Maniacs opened for them.
