Great songs in this thread. The Producers have been mentioned several times--I saw them for the first time in over 20 years last Saturday at a school fair in Metairie. Voices have suffered a bit but still sounded great.

All the 40-60 year old adults are bopping by the stage while the school kids are pushing their way through the crowd wondering what happened to their playground.

Here's a few that are on my list:

Aztec Camera Oblivious

Split Enz I Got You

Howard Jones What is Love?

Squeeze Pulling Mussels From a Shell

For me, it is nostalgia and the videos that accompanied them at the time. That was a groundbreaking artistic time in the early to mid Eighties with the advent of video and synthesizers. Great time for new music.
