He killed himself after the band booted him for his drinking. He DID write their first 2 hits but I'm not sure this qualifies him as their primary songwriter.

GB rocked though.

Played The Varsity for Red Rock and Blue two years ago. Was great show.

They played the Strawberry Festival in Ft. Mill, SC Friday night. Not really a fan of medium tempo radio rock, but they weren't that bad.
