Wayne fell out of favor for me pretty hard the past 3 years or so but I have recently been getting back to his older stuff (aka the stuff that was actually good).

I have to believe that Da Drought 3 was hands down the best Weezy has put out. I remember it coming out right after Katrina and you couldn't get away from it. Everyone had it in their cars, the songs would play on Q93 and Tuck's would literally play every song on that mixtape nonstop (I was a junior during Katrina..don't hate).

Sure Carter I and II went hard and were nicely produced but does anyone think another album/mixtape was better than DD3? I'd be interested to hear.

A few songs from DD3:
Seat Down Low (Remix)
Walk It Out (Freestyle)
Sky's The Limit

IMO its either that or No Ceilings. I honestly don't think anything comes close to those 2. Its a toss up to me which one is the best though. I'm a huge fan of Carter I though. Easily my favorite album of his.

It's his top 3. But Dedication 2 was his best

Yeah you're going to see a ridiculous variety of peoples' own favorites, but I think we can all agree that D3 was one of his best. Like Mugen said, easily Top 3.

Well since its consensus top three of one of the most critically acclaimed (at a certain time) and successful rappers ever, does it crack the top five rap albums/mixtapes of all time?

Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 took mixtapes to an entirely different level. Not only was the music itself extraordinary, the ease of availablity was great because of the internet.

Lots of kids like yourself and myself were spoiled with this growing up in high school. Now they are given this shite Wayne that no one with a lick of sense can actually enjoy.

Drought 3 was good, but none of his work touches D2.

I'd put the Suffix up there too. Wayne/Mack Main/ and Curren$y together was money.

I still think his best work was when he'd collab with Juelz
