-TT&AA again for sure. Sadly, I was out of town for both of those shows
-Isbell and 400 Unit
-Sturgill Simpson (JW, look into this guy!)
-Xavier Rudd (I love this guy but doubt there would be enough local interest)
-Black Crowes (they played similar sized venues in Nola 3 times this year, but aren't touring in 2014)
-Ben Harper is playing relatively small venues this year
-Trombone Shorty? is he too big?
-Any of the Texas/Oklahoma Country Acts from this year that played Varsity and M&W (Boland, Moreland, Lucas, Eady, etc)
-I know it's a running joke but I go see Zoso nearly every time they play here. I love Led Zeppelin that much.
-I'd go see Dawes again without question
-Tweedy solo I'd fight for tickets to see, but I don't think it is realistic for BR
I could go on...and some of my picks might be unrealistic, but it's worth a shot mentioning.

I know, I was there. I was thinking they would be a decent fit for the venue.

Not that I would be able to attend, yet is Henry Rollins still doing his spoken word gigs?

Railroad Earth. I've been asking Bowen for this forever.
They've played at The Varsity. I saw them when I was in college.

I mean yeah I've seen them a number of times too but that doesn't mean they shouldn't come back. They are one of the best jam live acts around. And they are grandpas
