quote:And that pisses me the hell off. 80's, I get. First Wave? Hell no. That guy makes me want to kill puppies. His crap is just as bad as what I hear on Hits 1. Never understood how his music was lumped in with the other bands listed in here.
I cannot turn on the 80's station or New wave without hearing Howard Jones.
You're just not a Sex Pistols fan and to top it, hate that Johnny Rotten went popish.
I agree.

I don't think most of these bands were underrated. Maybe they don't get played on radio much these days but college radio played the crap out of them while I was at LSU and it was all I listened to.
Recently saw the Smithereens, they play up this way all the time, they still sound great. Saw INXS with Berlin opening earlier this year. INXS sounds great but w/o Michael, they are basically the greatest INXS cover band around.
Just bought a Split Endz album along with the Alarmand The Pretenders last weekend. Found a great record store in Asbury Park that will be getting a lot of my money

Yet, he is played in amongst artists that do. He lawys has been. I hate him more than other pop acts because he is forced on me when I listen to the above stuff.

God, I hate this band so much. There's nothing underrated about them.

I don't think they got enough love in the states.
They didn't and Dusk is easily their best album.
