Bono can eat a sack of balls...really. He has been spouting his political rhetoric for years, always criticizing America....why doesn't that cuck go fix Belfast (ya know, his own country), and then get back with us.
frick Bono (in case I didn't make it clear above).
I do hope you have an enjoyable evening though

I would rather pull off my fingernails with my teeth while on fire than go watch U2 and Bono.

In!! Last time I saw U2 was high school, Joshua Tree tour in 1987. Feel like I'm right back where I started.
Except the tix cost a hell of a lot more

What an absolutely incredible show. The Joshua Tree is a magical album.

U2 is one of the biggest over rated bands. I'd rather shove lit cigarettes up my urethra than go and see those shite stains.

What was the set list? And what did Bono say about the Manchester attacks?
And U2 is the greatest band in the history of the world, by just about any measure you could use.

I've been listening to U2 for a long time. If you grew up with them you realize that they were the constant background music from about age 14 to age 40. That is a long touchstone for a generational band. They are the GenX Rolling Stones.

It's their most spiritual album. I agree.

The set list was:
Sunday Bloody Sunday - Perfect kickoff song. Place came unglued
New Year’s Day
Pride (In the Name of Love)
Where the Streets Have No Name
I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For
With or Without You
Bullet the Blue Sky
Running to Stand Still
Red Hill Mining Town
In God’s Country
Trip Through Your Wires
One Tree Hill” (dedicated to Chris Cornell)
Exit
Mothers of the Disappeared
Miss Sarajevo - Basically propaganda for Syrian refugees
Bad
Beautiful Day
Elevation
Ultraviolet (Light My Way) - dedicated to strong women in the world, which is cool. Graphics displayed pictures of historical pioneers throughout. Laura Bush got a big cheer, as did Michelle Obama and Hilary Clinton. Lena Dunham being included made me
One - dedicated to AIDS victims. Gave big props to W and Laura Bush for their work with the Red Foundation
The Little Things That Give You Away - new song that was actually pretty good.
Bono's vocals were absolutely on point and The Joshua Tree never sounded better.

He mentioned it a couple times but nothing overly special was done for it.

great great show. The Joshua Tree is one of the top albums of my younger days. So cool to hear all the B-Sides played - One Tree Hill (which was dedicated to the Manchester victims) is my favorite song on the album. Trip Through Your Wires, Red Hill Mining, what a blast.
Bono was on point last night - he had nothing but good things to say about the USA last night. Praised America for saving 18 mil lives in Africa by donating daily pills - special praise for George Bush and Obama.
Only point of contention for me was the tribute to women with al the flashing faces of great women of the world, and somehow Lena Dunham is shown. WTF!?!? So many other worthy women to honor over her. My only nitpick of the night.
Will put it in the top 5 shows I've ever seen.
