Why did this band never get the accolades of so many others in their time? A 3 piece, too.

A great live performance^

A lot of 3 piece outfits tend to have lots of internal drama (for whatever reason) - Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, The Police and Triumph was no exception.

About the only "3-piece" groups with lots of mainstream success, and without a lot of internal drama, were post-Gabriel Genesis and Rush - at least that I recall.

But, Triumph's "Fight the Good Fight" is an awesome, big rock anthem - one of the best.

I will uppercut anyone in the area once "Magic Power" kicks-in.

They put on one helluva show back in the 80's. Fight the Good Fight and Lay it on the Line were my favorites. Lay it on the Line

Always loved that band, saw them in 1983 at the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport they opened up for Van Halen and Triumph was louder and put on a better show than Halen.
