This duet took place in New York City during Amos’ concert in support of her successful 1996 album Boys for Pele.
Great collaboration.
Tori has got one of the most beautiful and unique voices in the industry and If you know Maynard you know how unusual this is for him to be visually vulnerable.

I’ve always been a big fan of this version. With that said, Maynard is a bit awkward in his vocals at certain points. The pitch of the song is slightly off for him. Not that he sounds bad, just a bit awkward.
Nice post though. I haven’t heard this in years. I’ll listen to it a few times now that it’s fresh in my mind again.
