From looking at the Best and Worst list it is clear they gave this job to someone who hates Pop and loves Urban. These lists are always stupid because they are actually one person's opinions. That person just has a job at a major publication and gets to publish their opinions for the country to see.

Time is a terrible magazine so I guess they are somewhat qualified to put this list together.
If I've heard any of these songs I'm unaware of it, disconnecting from popular music isn't hard (unless you have teenagers I guess).
