Where's the Revolution
Depeche Mode goes ambiguously political again.
You've been kept down
You've been pushed 'round
You've been lied to
You've been fed truths
Who's making your decisions
You or your religion
Your government, your countries
You patriotic junkies
Where's the revolution
Come on people
You're letting me down
Where's the revolution
Come on people
You're letting me down
You've been pissed on
For too long
Your rights abused
Your views refused
They manipulate and threaten
With terror as a weapon
Scare you till you're stupefied
Wear you down until you're on their side
Where's the revolution
Come on people
You're letting me down
Where's the revolution
Come on people
You're letting me down
The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming
So get on board
Get on board
Get on board
Get on board
The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming
So get on board
Get on board
Get on board
Get on board

Meh but I'm probably the wrong person to ask. Huge fan of everything DM did through SOFAD but just not much interest in anything they've done since Alan left.

Not bad but

It's definitely them. They have a knack for projecting a feeling that their chorus is going to be fast or upbeat...but it just resonates in a much more angrier and slower plane.

it's pretentious rock music. I'll listen to confirm this but if its Depehe Mode I feel confident in my assessment prior to hearing

Huge fan of them back in the day. I remember seeing them in N.O., OMD opened for them. Late 80's. I believe after Violator, i quit following them and that sound didn't do for me much anymore.

Their catalogue is glorious and awesome. I have no interest in music like this being made by has beens.
