I just found out that many of the Les Paul guitars that we love and play have HOLES CUT OUT of them and then covered over for the purpose of making the guitar less heavy.

HAVE YOU ANY FREAKING IDEA HOW MUCH SUSTAIN THE OWNERS OF THOSE LIGHT LES PAULS ARE GOING TO LOSE?

THIS IS A CATASTROPHE AND A GREAT DRAMA thus the vibrancy and relevance of the Music Board is saved.

Various members of the Krewe were banned. Some left on their own accord. Some simply lurk and pop their heads out from time to time.

It was a golden era and it will be missed

95>97

thats a tough one

Dec 95 is a peak 97 has no answer for, and really both years display very different styles

97 brings the funk and brings it hard, but still has some really interesting type II 20-30 minute jams going on with little to no funk involved. look to the Amsterdam Stash for reference

Summer 95 is SO out there with the dissonance and willingness to push boundaries with the jams that as often as the jams were good and interesting there were also noisey and tedious. Phish never had the balls they had in summer 95 like they had in any other era

really I'd only agree that 95 is better because December is so, so good, but i enjoy the funk in general more so 97 is a very very close second. I mean Page with the clavinet during the summer tour in 97, come on dawg. the funk is so deep.

in summary, yes 95>97, but not by much.

alright MB, back to talking about REO Speedwagon or whatever you idiots go on about in this shithole now

With regard to Phish -- is their guitar tone better when they use the long-tenon Les Paul or the short-tenon? Or maybe the transitional tenon Les Paul?

I can't decide.

That shite is the reason I didn't touch this board for years. Heady frat boy first time doper banter.
