re: The lines at Voodoo

This sounds like a nightmare of a music festival. I went years ago, and it was pretty bad then too, with long lines, bad food etc.

I loved the way they set up the bathrooms this year. I probably pissed 20 times in 20 different porta potties and none of them were even close to being full. The line was only 1 deep every time too. No wait.

I didnt eat but the food setup looked the same as in years past.


I did wait in line for an hour, and as an impatient person, may never go back to Voodoo again. It was the most ridiculous thing ive ever encountered at any festival or public event.

I just can't figure out who thought that would work logistically. And when the line started to form, where were the festival workers to let people know what line was for what, and where were they to help prevent people cutting the line? I must have told 5 different groups of people to GTFO. Im actually surprised there wasnt some type of riot, everyone was pissed.

we were going to cut the line but we were dressed up. It would have been too obvious.

went tonight…it was great…only took us 5 minutes to get in…peeing took about 15 total time walking to bathrooms and waiting in line so not bad…and agree the LE food was same as previous years

Flux Pavillion and Skrillex both destroyed it….I must say, the lighting was by far the most impressive of everything. To the light guy:


dude was changing lights after every change in beat…he knew every song inside and out.

Not really interested in a 5 mile bike ride drunk as hell.

We got there at like 1:00 Friday and so fricking glad we did. 5 minutes to get in. It should never take more than 30 minutes to get through the gates. Absurd.
