What are your thoughts on The Killers? Personally, I think they are one of the best bands to form in the recent generation. At least one of the best popular, more mainstream bands.

That first album, Hot Fuss, was an incredible album top to bottom.

It sounds like a greatest hits album but I love Mr Brightside, All the things that I've done, somebody told me, and when you were young. I haven't spent too much time in their actual discography but i bet it's worth a listen.

I was in HS/college in their heyday and at the time they were one of my favorite bands I'd ever heard. I don't really listen anymore but I'm not anti-killers.

that run of HF/Sams Town/Sawdust/D&A was really incredible.

It's kinda crazy, but I'm not as big on HF as everyone else I know. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike it and have nothing bad to say, I just enjoy some of the other albums a good bit more.

I fricking love them. Haha, i know great insight.

But really, I love how their style progressed throughout their time together, and I honestly can find somethign I love on all of their albums. I still punch myself for not goign to see them at Hangout when they were there...

I've got that beat.

Circa 2007/2008 at UGA they had a show that wasn't like a normal concert that's advertised on ticketmaster, it was one of those "pop up" shows I guess that was only announced briefly ahead of time. It was at the 40 watt and there were maaaaybe 100 people in attendance. My buddies all heard about it and got tix and had one for me but I had a test or something going on and skipped out on it. That would have been incredible seeing them at that venue during that time.
