I was just a little kid at the height of their popularity in the 80s and liked all their biggest hits like Everybody Wants to Rule The World, Head Over Heals, Shout, etc and some of the lesser known hits too. Listening to some of their show from last year at Bonnaroo on YouTube and they still sound damn good live. Would love to see them play at Hangout or Jazz Festival one year.

You're dating yourself there...lol. "Break it Down" and "Sewing the Seeds of Love" were their hit singles my senior year (1993)...lol.

The Hurting is one of my favorite albums. So many great songs. One of those albums that I can listen to from beginning to end.

Everybody Wants to Rule The World is one of my favorite "pop" songs ever.

I also like Elemental:

Definitely. Those two albums are much better than anything else they released although I think "Break it Down Again" is a great song and "Sewing the Seeds of Love" is to a lesser extent as well.

I never liked Mad World until I heard a cover version then went back to the original. Hate Shout.

Same here. I instantly go back to the summer of '85 when I hear the first few notes.

Hate Shout.

Overrated song but I get through it to get to the guitar solo near the end.

"Pale Shelter"

one of my favorites of theirs.

If you get a chance check out their sets from last year at Bonnaroo on YouTube. They still sound great live.

Not "one of". It is THE best song of theirs. This is perfection, and it does not get the recognition it deserves.

One of the most depressing as well. Someone on youtube has a ten hour loop of it. I think it's 90 percent effective in motivating a suicide.
