After a couple years of really digging their albums and hearing rave reviews for their live shows, it all happened for me over the weekend at Bonnaroo.

These guys execute a show like nobody's business. Such amazing musicians and production. Everything from the sound quality to the lights was perfect and they were easily the best show of the weekend (Dead and Co. was wonderful though). If you get a chance to see these guys, do it.

I was there as well and I've seen them a few times before but it was still a let down for me. Daffodils was a nice surprise however. I just wish they would have played longer since they were given a 2 hour set. It was a good show but Dead & Co, LCD, Pearl Jam, Lamb of God, Band of Horses, and Chris Stapleton were all better IMO.

To be fair, you say this about 90 percent of bands you see.

I saw them this summer in Nashville and found the show to be pretty boring and low energy overall. The opener, Mini Mansions were better.

The Ryman? I was at that show. I had the worst seat in the house - very back, underneath the balcony. They sounded really good. Unfortunately, I couldn't see much of the show.

I realize this is all subjective, but that's crazy. They put on a legit show. Top 3 show for me in 2015.

Haters gonna hate. Dead and Co. jams. People just love to hate Mayer for irrational reasons (I used to do the same).

Yep, and I didnt think the show was bad or anything, just boring. Everyone was just standing there not moving or dancing, the music was not loud enough and there were too many drawn out parts. It didnt make me feel anything, very sterile.

Maybe he's just a boring a-hole and has no business seeing live music.

This has been my experience at pretty much every show I've been to at The Ryman. Coming from New Orleans, it's odd and frustrating. People were even sitting on their arse for Leon Bridges.

The Ryman is a fantastic venue, but in my experience, it lacks the energy and excitement of other venues such as Tips.

I saw them the night before in Chicago. They were alright. It was more about the lights/confetti vs. Actual music. I was more impressed by the opening act, Benjamin Booker.

I was there, but didn't see Tame (can't get into them) and can't stand the Dead, Phish, WSP, etc. Can't stand those EDM artists either. I had an awesome Roo though. LCD was fantastic as was FIDLAR, Vince Staples, J. Cole, Two Door Cinema Club, Saint Motel, and Twin Peaks. I missed the London Souls which sucks.

I guess it's all subjective. Thought the energy of the show was great, but then again I was about 30 feet from the stage near the front. Sound and production was amazing.

Didn't know the board disapproves of Dead and Co. , oh well. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. My Roo experience was wonderful

J. Cole, Two Door Cinema Club

Both of these shows were incredible!

Also got on the center of the rail for Jason Isbell. He was a top five show for sure.
