I've tried listening to Sturgill, but I just can't get into it. I don't get all the hoopla about him. Anyway, I'll be going to the Little Rock show, maybe he'll be better live.

Try again, there's no way you can not feel pure and raw human emotion from Sturgill's last album

It's a masterpiece

Listen closely

They do...and you're right.

I assure you that Sturgill is not a country act at this point. He rocked pretty hard in Little Rock last night. I was very impressed with his guitar skills. He channelled his inner Jeff Beck with a cover of "Going Down" that was pretty good. A little funk was thrown in the set. I liked him much more than I thought I would.

GnR put on a huge show. They did all the hits in a professional way. Better than I expected.

Frankly, Slash was the third best guitarist at the show last night. I thought the Gunner's 2nd guitarist, Richard Fortus played better than Slash technically and musically. Sturgill did too IMO.

Little Rock was treated to a great show last night.

I have to agree with this. They went at for just over three hours straight, and sounded good. Definitely got my money's worth.

eta: The lines were long to get in and I missed most of Stugill's set, but the two songs I caught of his sounded good. I had listened to some of his stuff the other week and couldn't really get into it, but I liked the way he sounded live.
