Do they sell booze at concerts at the Rivercenter or should we sneak in our own?

The lines are usually kind of bad for shows at the RC, alcohol primarily.

Oh and the soundsystem is just plain

I think they make you empty your pockets if I remember correctly. This was at the River Center Theater but I would imagine it's the same way at the RC.

True, can't imagine Boston's sonic sound being pretty if they aren't relying on their own speakers brought in.

I think they did.

Was an excellent concert!

My wife and I went. Was an incredible concert. I saw them in the late 90's at Lakefront Arena when Brad Delp was still alive. The concert tonight was just as good as the first time I saw them live. Tom Scholz is very underrated as a guitar player.

Agreed! Eddie Money, on the other hand, really should hang it up. I felt sorry for him. It was awkward.

I think that's where I saw them last time, they did the "Phantom of the Opera" thing with the organ, turning into Foreplay, right?

I'd agree, this one was as good, if anything I'd say last night's was better. Tommy DeCarlo might not be the original singer, but his voice is perfect.

The Money Man sounded ok, and pretty relaxed out there. When he came back with the LSU #7 jersey on I laughed... seemed like he would be a good act to catch at Jazzfest. But yeah, he was definitely pandering a little heavily with the "my kids" bit.
They were good musically on his songs, I would never have thought they weren't "professionals". Their own single showed they weren't too polished. And the daughter needs to work on her dancing, I thought she was a little too spastic out there. She's hot, though

Eddie Money wasn't all that bad. His band sounded good and his vocals were still ok at 68 years of age. He's a quirky guy and has been since he came out back in the 80's.

As was mentioned he did push his kids music a little but he's a dad and proud of his kids. They are just very rough at this point and need more experience and polishing.

Boston was pretty good. The sound was tight and played all of their hits and everything was on point. I'm not a Boston fan so all the long instrumentals lost me personally for a bit, but that's who they were back in the day so I do get it.

Yes they had the organ set up with the light bar that lowered with the red and orange lights to make it look like a spaceship was taking off when they played We're Ready, The Launch, and Cool the Engines.

I agree last night was better. I laughed when he asked the crowd how many weren't even born when their first album came out. The new lead singer is great. Does sound al most identical to Brad Delp.

Totally. I kept wanting her to take off the black coat she was wearing. But those legs and tall boots.
