That Wu Tang set was absolutely awful.
RHCP was once my fave band..they're not the same without Frusciante unfortunately

Yeah, they were my first band that I followed really heavily. Read Scar Tissue and everything. Been listening to them for a long as I can remember. I bought tickets for the show in NOLA, but had to sell the tickets when they pushed back the tour dates
But agreed, Frusciante is just an incredibly talented/gifted guitarist. He just had too many demons when playing with RHCP.

This almost sounds like an RHCP cover band...
Klinghoffer needs to chill with the improvisations during verses...He's not even in the same key as these songs were actually played by Frusciante.
If someone says this was an awesome show, they likely haven't listened to them for very long or prob. don't know the names of more than a handful of songs.

This is my first time listening to them live, so I can't really gauge how they are. I never got to listen to them live when Frusciante was with the band, so ... that sucks.

Flea just said his acid kicked in, which is nothing new for him to drop before a show. Josh is not playing what he should. I think he took acid as well and is in his own little world. Anthony just went and talked to Chad for a few moments..
I wouldn't be surprised to hear a rumble or two after this show...although if any band can make chicken salad out of chicken shite it's RHCP. At least Chad and Anthony are sober..
