Queen and Adam Lambert are getting ready to rock North American stages again this summer. The superstar pairing of former American Idol belter and founding Queen members guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will play a 25-city arena tour beginning on June 23 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Gila River Arena.
The group will be hitting the road with what is described as a "new show specially designed and created for this outing," that will, of course, bring Queen fans all their favorite hits, including "Another One Bites the Dust," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions." Tickets for the tour go on sale Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local time through the Live Nation app and at Livenation.com. Members of both Queen and Lambert's fan clubs can get in on the action early beginning on Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.

Not to shite on your excitement because I'm sure it'll be pretty good, but certain bands just shouldn't carry on when a certain member has died, and Queen without Freddie Mercury is one IMO.
With that said, hope it's a great show.

I think seeing Brian May and Roger Taylor live is worth the price of admission. Freddie is the greatest front man of all time. But every single member of the band is responsible for writing a #1 hit. It would have been absolutely tragic for them to have discontinued after Freddie's death. The Show Must Go On.

I'm not going. Queen without John Deacon?

That's not Queen. That is two (2) guys from Queen fronted by a queen (nothing wrong with that) and some spare parts bass player filling in the rhythm section.
If they were going to replace the greatness that was Freddie Mercury after he died, they should've done in the early 90s and tried to move forward. Doing so now....I just don't know. I get they have played with Lambert previously.

Been playing with Lambert for at least 7 years now. I'm expecting a good show, although nothing like Freddie.

Pretty sure he's only been with Queen for a few years. Heck he's only been famous since 2009-10ish
