Hall and Oates are pretty under rated as it goes to 80's Pop music.

I know the Bee Gees catch a lot of flack, but they were really talented. Before disco became an uncontrollable, soulless monster (and right before their launch into super, mega stardom) - they had these songs:

Jive Talkin'

Knights on Broadway

Imagine being the big brother of a talented musical clan and yet be the last one standing...

"I can pull the wool while I'm being polite."

God, this song is catchy.

Jidenna - classic man

Also, Janelle Monae: would smash.

Phil Collins - easy lover, sussudio
Nu shooz - I can't wait
T'pau - heart and soul
Madonna - into the groove
Billy ocean - carribean queen

I could literally add songs for hours. 80s pop dominated other decade's pop.

I don't enjoy a lot of pop music, but I do like The Killers.
