My name is BJ Barham. For 10 years I have written songs solely for my band American Aquarium, but on a recent trip to Europe I wrote a batch of songs that didn’t feel like full band songs. They felt extremely intimate. They felt like songs that would be best served with just me, my voice and an acoustic guitar. A batch of songs about home. My childhood home of Reidsville. My current home of Raleigh. Just every possible definition of what home means to me. I am extremely happy to announce that in early February, I will be going into the studio with Brad Cook and Jon Ashley (the guys that worked with the band on Wolves) to record my debut solo record “Rockingham.” I am asking my fans to preorder the record and also take advantage of the exclusive fan bundles available here at PledgeMusic.
