What shows were u at fall 97? We probably rubbed elbows a few times. That holiday run>island tour was some if the best days of my life. Good times!

I saw about 50 shows in a 4 year span 97-00.

Fall 97 i caught the worcester shows. Runaway jim, nuff said.

Pretty much every holiday msg show in that span.

All 4 island run shows.

Most nj/northeast summer shows.

Moved out west in 99, did the gorge shows and shoreline shows.

Last show i saw was the 1st retirement show at shoreline in 00.

The funky bitch heavy metal wolfmans brother was sick at worcester.

12-30-97 encore at the garden sticks out.

The lsland run was my peak, it was the high i chased for years but never reached again.

4-2 wolfmans-> sally, then later twist

4-3 second set and encore are my favorite set of all time. And the tapes dont do it justice, the vibe in that place was surreal.

4-4 tweezer opener. 2001 & ghost

4-5 possum -> cavern

Yea I feel yea. Those island tour shows were the last great true peak for Phish for me. I wish all phish fans could Have experienced those shows. Truly something else! the openers every night just set the table. I stumbled around in 99-00 and again in 03-04 but it was never the same.

Haha I chuckled at the George comment. It's all good brother, that's your opinion. Ill admit I kinda felt the same way when he first joined the band. I had stopped seeing the band in the George days and although jimmy was a breath of fresh air he was thrown in with only like 2 weeks to learn all the songs. He has really found his spot in the band now a days tho. He doesn't play over the band anymore and is much more cohesive. They did big big things in 2011 and with their wood tour. Wood tour was really good for them I feel. It broke the music down back to the basics and you could tell they were having a great time. I expect big things out of them this year. La playa was awesome. I wish I was still there. To each their own and I respect your opinion.

shite, I meant Michael Houser (obviously) I am bad with WSP terms

Tough call. One that I saw would be 10/25/96 in hampton. I'd also live to get a nice copy of 7/13/99 in boston. First set is crazy. What about you?
