Both released new albums today. Papa's farewell concert at the Leaf is out and Anders has a new studio album - Flowerbox. Both are damn good.

Had no idea Anders was going to release another album this year until I saw it this morning on his Facebook page. Gave it a full listen already and it is great.

Agreed re Anders more uptempo than the last one. Was surprised about the Papa release too, considering the concert was almost 3 years ago and they disbanded. But, glad to have both of them released.

I went to the Anders Osborne solo acoustic show in Lafayette on Wednesday and he played a couple songs off the new album. It was incredible. His voice absolutely fills the room. And his guitar playing is so dynamic and rhythmic, something that can get kinda lost in the full-band shows. My only complaint would be the chattering crowd.
