To be fair Aimee Mann has had a very successful career and the magnolia soundtrack is genius.

I spend a few hours a day in the car and have been on a Sirius XM 80's and New Wave channel kick the last couple weeks--so all these are fresh on the mind!


One of my favorite songs from the '80's is Nik Kershaw's "Wouldn't it be Good"--brings back memories!

It is also a difficult song to find in its original--he remastered it sometime in 1996 and EVERY music service has that version. The horns are different as well as the drum track--it just sounds not right. I had to hunt down an original LP (in the 99¢ record bin!) to get the original version I listened to as a kid.
