AXS TV was supposed to be recording the show, so hopefully it gets uploaded to YouTube at some point.

The Who killed it yesterday. One of the best rock & roll shows I've ever seen.

I heard the same thing
hard to believe but good for them
dead feat last night was great
john gros on keyboards
could have done without the fourth (!) guitar ( don't know who he was) but otherwise they rocked it very hard and very loud

It really was a great show. You could feel the energy provided by the second drummer and it gave the rhythm an authentic Dead sound. I know what you mean about the fourth guitarist, but I didn't find the sound to be too cluttered. Seems like the others respected whoever was taking lead at the time.
Gros was great on the keys. He seems to know when to play and when not to play. I really enjoyed Johnny Sansome's appearance. The "Not Fade Away" they did with him was definitely a highlight. I really dug Bertha. Back on Dumaine was great as always. Anders' guitar work was on point. I surprisingly thought Billy sang "Fire on the Mountain" better than Anders did last year (based on the recording). I like the selection of Little Feat songs too.
Here was the setlist from last night. Curious to find out what they play tonight.

Listening to the WWOZ stream of The Word show right now. Whoever is there must be getting down right now.

Word was legit, to a of energy. Aren't fully in sync with Roosevelt collier I don't think, but they were still rocking.

It was a great show but you could defintely tell Robert Randolph's cast hampered his performance. How did he break his hand?

Not sure. I have the wannee show and it sounds good, but not near as good as a full strength rr.

good review, cant argue with any of that
they also snuck in the "shipping powders" verse of throwing stones into NFA, which i thought was cool
i went to school with john, he said billy k may have been "altered" on sunday nite, lol
ETA found this
Setlist: Dead Feat ~ 4/26/15 ~ Howlin Wolf, New Orleans, LA
New Speedway boogie > Old Folks Boogie, Move Back to Mississippi, Do Or Die > I Know You Rider > Sailin Shows > Church Fallin Down > Franklin's Tower > Black Eye Galaxy, Fool Yourself > Sugaree > I Got Loaded > Eyes of the World, The Weight

Under My Thumb, Heartbreaker, Eminence Front

Medeski was so fricking killer on the keys last night. Stoked he's doing Maple Leaf tomorrow. Also am expecting Luther to shred more than he did with the Word. He played rhythm for the majority of the show.

I cant wait. Medeski is probably my favorite muscian, ive seen him in some tiny places before and its such a treat. With luther being the only guitarist, there should definitely be some room for him to shred.

Ryan Adams whining about the set length was one of the most painful Jazz Fest experiences I've ever had. Lord knows he has enough of a back catalog to fill ten minutes. Weak ending to an otherwise solid show.
