I'm going to JRAD the following night.

Kinda looking for something different before Voodoo Dead though.

Think i may hit the Fiya Riverboat show that friday. it sails from 10-12. Lineups haven't been announced yet but they are running both Fridays and Saturdays.

Posted by UncleBuckDabs Bayou Rendezvous@Howlin Wolf, it'll seem like a huge block party on South Peters from 9-5 am. If you try to do Fiya Fest into these shows, you better have some PED's. You love Dead cover bands? JRAD into Voodoo Dead will make you hate Dead cover bands, or at least I'm telling myself that.

Jrad is the least cover band out of any of the post grateful dead bands. Its why they are so great, unlike phil and ratdog and furthur and the other ones, they actually leave the song structure and improvise.

Tipitina's
4/30 St Paul and Broken Bones

Anyone get tickets to this show?

I went to buy some online over the weekend, and TicketWeb says there are no longer any tickets available.

I know they have gotten more popular, but I didn't think they would be sold out this early. I was able to get tickets day of show the last time they played Tipitinas and opened for Dragon Smoke.

Looks like they added a second St. Paul and the Broken Bones show at Tipitina's on Wednesday, April 29. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.
