Nola Show Conflict: Kurt Vile or Hiss Golden Messenger/Dawes?

Have tickets to Kurt Vile at Republic on Sunday as well as the Hiss Golden Messenger/Dawes show at Tips. Same night and same time. Never seen any of them live. Like them all. Probably slight lean to Kurt Vile. What do you think?

I may be biased, but as someone who will have seen them twice after tonight, Dawes is really not a show you wanna miss

I'm heading to Dawes. It will be the first time I've seen them in a smaller venue.

I'm in Houston and seeing Kurt tonight, and Dawes/HGM on Saturday. Very glad I don't have to make this choice.
I've seen Dawes like 6 times, they are great live. I love HGM too, and have never seen him/them so I'm really psyched about that show. HGM is amazing.
Vile I have only seen acoustic, so I can't wait to see full band tonight.
I don't think you can go wrong with either.

DUDE!! I saw Dawes/HGM last night in Mobile.
Their is no decision to be made. They put on the best show I may have ever seen. Did you know Dickey Betts' son plays lead for them now? They are incredible dude, can not miss them

I saw Vile saturday night. Pretty dull show. A lot of people were leaving early.....to go refill their Prozac I guess. I saw him 2 years ago and he rocked out. This time it was a lot of slow, soft stuff....which I expected since his new album is that way.

Same at Nola show last night. Some energy early on and then it hit a lull in the middle with a ton of slow stuff. Pretty sleepy show. Sunday night didn't help
