Just started the play. Opening song is soft and nice. Excited to dig through this one.

Update: this is getting stale. There is no growth of their sound. It's pretty much rehashing their sound but less interesting. A bit disappointed with this first listen.

Just started my second listen. I liked it on first listen, but too early to tell how much.

Track 6 and 7 are actually really good. I don't dislike any of it, but up until this point it has felt stale. These two I am liking plenty. Still have 3 more to go.

This is certainly one I will listen to a few times before making final judgement.

I agree that there’s not a lot of new ground covered here but I found the production and sound of this album to be nearly perfect.

I don’t think this is just a carbon copy of their previous records. It definitely has your typical War on Drugs sound, but this is their most polished, glossy album to date. I’m really digging it. I doubt they ever top Lost in the Dream, but this will almost certainly place highly on my 2021 year-end list.

I loved it. Harmonia’s Dream is an incredible song.

I dig it…I’ve really enjoyed everything they’ve done in one way or another. Guess I’m just a sucker for that ethereal guitar synth rock sound.

They’ve always been a product of their influences. No denying the elements of Dylan, Springsteen, Dire Straits and Petty present in their songwriting. Some may think it is derivative but I don’t care. A good melody and tune is just a good song in my opinion. No need to reinvent the wheel.

This album is no different although I hear a little Fleetwood Mac coming thru now. Maybe in the studio production.

Solid album. Perfect for Autumn listening on the back deck.

They're one of my favorite bands. I have been listening to the three released tracks a bit and they're easy listening (in a couple ways), but definitely nothing earth shattering. About to listen to whole album now. Not expecting much compared to last two.

Eta: i like the album, and i think it will grow on me. WOD features heavily in my running playlist, but i don't think most of this album is running music (many would say no WODs is, but i go on long slow trail runs and the cadence is perfect usually). It's nighttime or chill by fire music. No complaints. Again, nothing earth shattering.
