Enjoying the new album 'Is This The Life We Really Want?' It's a pretty musical album by Roger Waters' standards, very old-school Floydian at times...many callbacks to Meddle, Wish You Were Here, and Animals. Of course, the lyrics are sure to draw some ire...he certainly doesn't hold back what's on his mind, and there's enough profanity where I don't expect too see the album on sale at Walmart anytime soon, lol...

shite. Didn't know it came out today. Deja Vu is very Wall-ish. Love it.

Well, if you don't want to go out and search for it anywhere, just order it on Amazon and get the Auto-Rip sent to you right away, heh...

Yeah, I'm surprised at how much I enjoy this. I like his other solo works, but often they felt "spoken word"-ish at times...this album feels more balanced, musically & lyrically.

If it's not for sale in Walmart, it's not because of profanity.

According to Roger, Walmart asked him (well, maybe not him specifically, but the label) to provide an "alternate" version...I'd just assumed it was because it was laced with so many F-bombs...

Which, if true, makes his new album even more impressive, provided you'd actually heard it....

How are you saying Walmart denied him? When half of rap songs are about rape and robbing?

Don't ask me, I'm just going by what Roger said...and when I just went to Walmart's site, the album isn't available there.

A "what if" casualty, for sure.

Are you speaking from experience? Mileage varies from person to person, for sure....

Massive doses of acid have rendered him unable to tell reality from hallucination. He's turning into Syd.

I do, and so did people thousands of years before you did too, so I'm now convinced you're trolling for some bizarre reason, considering the poliboard is just a click away...

Amen. If there's one high you can't come back from, it's pure LSD.
