I wouldn't think they would lose a step with Chimenti. Everything he's done with DeadCo and the Fare Thee Well shows has been impressive.

So 5 guys who have been friends for 20 plus years arent gonna lose a step when someone else plays with them? I tend to disagree, chimenti is good, but the unspoken bond between jrad is one of their greatest assests imo.

Really sucks. Joe Russo is the glue that holds them together, but Marco is the soul of JRAD. Total bummer he won't be there.

That is just for the upcoming run that falls on the same date as the Ween Colorado reunion shows.

What that means though is that ween would either be on a thursday or a sunday playing one night. Seems doubtful to me.

Last time ween was in nola was a late night jazzfest show.
I agree that i dont see dave pulling a double header with jrad and ween in one night. Both bands require such energy, but its far from impossible. Also, no reason ween cant play during the week or during the first weekend.
